David Boyd, CCIM, SIOR

David Boyd has 33 years of experience in commercial real estate and is Managing Principal with Boyd Commercial/CORFAC International, a boutique Houston brokerage founded in 1977. An expert in industrial real estate, David focuses on user and investment sales, as well as landlord and tenant representation. David is also a specialist in site acquisitions, build to suit, and design build facilities with experience in land sales for both speculative and owner occupied industrial development. David has built his career with long-term relationships gained through thorough market knowledge, industry leadership and service to the client.

David’s career highlights include over 825 lease and sale transactions totaling over $625,000,000 in consideration. Noteworthy development and investment clients include Cornerstone Advisors, Crow Holdings, DCT Industrial and Prologis. Tenant representation and corporate services clients include Aramark, Comcast, Federal Express and Staples. David has been recognized as a CoStar Power Broker and a Top Producer at Boyd Commercial. He has received awards for Largest International Transaction and Largest Office Transaction from CORFAC International. He also received the Charlie King award for dedicated service to that organization. In addition to his brokerage work, David is responsible for sales management of 11 brokers at Boyd Commercial. Together, they employ a “Virtual Team” approach to satisfying client requirements.

Industry involvement has been a priority over David’s career. David currently serves as President of CORFAC International, a global network of independent real estate brokerage companies with 50 member offices in the US and another 25 international offices. He is a member of the prestigious Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and has served as the Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter Treasurer, Vice President, and President. David also holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. He currently serves on the CCIM Houston chapter committee leadership team. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors and the Houston Association of Realtors. He currently serves on the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors and is the Chair of the Communications Committee for CORFAC International, a commercial real estate services organization covering 150 markets across the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia. David earned a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991.
